Treatment for inflamed sinuses – 19.01.2007

Having suffered from incredibly painful sinusitis almost every winter for a number of years, I seem to have become immune to all the conventional treatments available.

So far this year I have tried a number of different ‘over the counter’ tablets, nasal sprays, inhaling steam and various remedies from the health food shop. At their worst, my sinuses were so swollen I could barely open my eyes. My nose was sore from constantly blowing it, and my head ached from the pressure.

So, I decided to give Reiki a go. I’m quite a sceptical person when it comes to alternative therapies, but not afraid to give anything a try. The treatment was calm and relaxing, and I could carry on chatting, so I was happy! I was warned that my symptoms were likely to get worse before they got better, so I went home and prepared myself for the worst! The worst was, constantly blowing my nose for in excess of five minutes to clear what can only be described as a thick glue – I had a head-ache from all the blowing, but it was nothing compared to the head-aches I’d had for the past month or so. And then, IT WAS GONE!!??!! I had a pre-arranged "Doctors appointment that evening which I kept. The Doctor confirmed that I had inflamed sinuses, and recommended all the medicines I’d already tried, as they appeared to be ‘on the mend’. My treatment was on a Friday afternoon, and by the following Monday, I could speak clearly, turn my head upside down without pain and had no desire or or need to blow my nose.

I’m converted! I would recommend Janets treatments to anyone. I was lucky, that I was only suffering from a minor condition, and guess that’s why I had such quick results. I will definitely go for a Reiki healing session or two rather than ‘over the counter’ recommendations in the future".  Nicola

" 28/8/05 Had a Reiki treatment with Janet and it was very nice and relaxing (even talking when I felt like it) until she touched my right hand which began to tingle a lot and told her about this state my hand was in. Before unbeknown to her I had been having some problems with this hand and going into cramps and told her this and apparently it was her energy was going into this. My session with you is mainly the reason I was so confident and felt so good that I got my present job.

There was a definate positive shift in my energy levels, and my pain level had gone down.

"Four years ago in 2003 i used to suffer from stomach problems, i had endless

trips to the doctors and hospital who told me

that i had adhesions after an appendixs operation and there was nothing that

they could do. I was in unbearable pain and had to live on pain killers. I

went to vosit Jan for a Reiki treatment and after four or five sessions was able

to stop taking painkillers and lead a normal pain free life again. If pain then

returned i would visit jan for more reiki to clear the problem once more.

Last year i was diagnopsed with Huntingtons Disease, and have been on a drug

trial for the last six months, this drug trial has since ceased and my symptoms

have returned, however, a few treatments of Reiki have helped me feel so much

better and have reduced the visible symptoms of my disease. However i now live

in a differant country to Jan and she has been sending me the Reiki

telepathically, it works and i would highly recommend this form of alternative" Sarah
